Profile: These lengthy sparklers are inspired by Le Ballon Rouge — a 1956 short film by Albert Lamorisse about the adventures of a boy who befriends a balloon and follows it through the streets of Paris. A whimsical reminder of childhood, event marker and temporary companion with a tail, the buoyant balloon holds a lightness that reminds us of flight and celebration.
